By the beach — Gary + hedge.

On the beach (365: 99) – I had to wade into the sea, to get one shot, so I thought I might as well take my 365 days self-portrait at the same time … 1

Langstone Harbour Entrance – This channel marker is looking pretty beat up. That’s probably because it’s close to the beach, and so a good target for stones, and quite likely either someone has run into it, or tried to tie up to it.

Out for a ride — I borrowed the PM’s bike and tried to see if I could find some photographs. Funny how I ended up sunbathing on the nudist beach.

Uneven Keel – I didn’t check but it looks like this yacht is quite badly damaged – unless one of the keels has just sunk into the mud.

Pots — Old crab and lobster pots piled high on the shore.

Passage — Passage of time, passage to anywhere, passage through life. At some point the fishing boat will probably become an abandoned hulk on the shore.

inflatables on South Parade Pier Southsea, Hampshire UK.

Floating – Disconnected from the main buildings and the shore, the pier seemed to float in the mist.

Under construction — Gunwharf.

FastCat-Shanklin — Exiting Portsmouth harbour, with the buildings of the closed HMS Dolphin in the background.

Red Wall — Near the Round Tower, Old Portsmouth.

Looking out to sea. 2

Spigot.

Mr. Grumpy flies home.

Pork Pies Fresh Baked Daily — Leeds Kirkgate Market.

Produce — Leeds Kirkgate Market.

Leftovers — Flowers and hearts from Valentine’s Day.

A walk on the Sea Front (365: 15) — I thought it would make a change to take a photograph outside. I’m still too self-conscious to be bold and obvious when doing self-portraits, which is one excuse for the up the nose angle. 3

Waiting (365:12) – While waiting for my friends to arrive for our monthly curry evening, I fit in a quick drink and a 365 Days picture.

Bombay Bay — Monthly Curry Night.

Fawley Refinery, taken from (mid) Southampton Water. One of the early photographs I took when I bought my first digital camera. 3 pictures

Smoke, No Mirrors – Reprise – One of the early photographs I took when I bought my first digital camera.

Photograph of Gary Allman Sailing on the River Thurne, Norfolk Broads.

Sailing on the River Thurne, Norfolk Broads. This could be August 1999. It could be 2000, or later…

Bennett, Goring, Allman – I’m pretty sure this was the year Bob and Ann turned up unexpectedly.
