I like the shadow at the top of the frame, I noticed it before I started taking the shot and wanted to include it.

Things I dislike:

• My hair.
• The radiator.

I love:

• The light.
• The texture of the sofa.

The sofa(s) used to be burgundy, until one of the boys’ friends threw up on one after a drunken night out. Oh boy did that lose me some brownie points, as I’d given them the go-ahead to have everyone stay over. The PM disappears round her Mum’s when the lads have a night out, so I was notionally in charge.

Robert and friends did all the cleaning up, and they bought the PM a box of chocolates and me a crate of beer to apologise. They all looked so sheepish the PM even gave them all a cooked breakfast, but only after they’d cleared up.
