Getzger Cat finds watching TV tiring – Getzger, keen to be in on the action ousted Blue Kitty from her usual perch, made it his own, and enjoyed the experience in a way only Getzger can.

Chrysler Town and Country Minivan packed full of car camping gear

Packing for car camping — we are organized! When we first started car camping we quickly discovered it paid to be a bit organized. Our first ever car camping trip included a diversion to buy a couple of camp chairs because we’d left ours at home in the garage.

Sunset – Cedar Ridge, Stockton Lake, Missouri – Tom took me night fishing on Stockton Lake, and despite a slow start we managed to catch some nice fish. The sunset over the lake was absolutely stunning.

Happy New Year – For some reason I thought New Year’s Eve was on Friday, when actually it was on Thursday, so we had no arrangements made, and what with Ginger’s cold weren’t really in a position to do anything anyway. -2 min

Ginger and Tubby – Our resident Cat lady and Tubby, one of our four cats. 2

Blue Kitty – Despite being a haughty madam I have to admit that from time to time she looks wonderful, and tonight under the lamp with the Christmas tree (blue of course) behind her it was a picture asking to be taken.

Honey-do List – This week I’ve been working on my ‘Honey-do’ list and managed to cross off four items: Fitted a new front door, replaced the broken light switch in the kitchen and replaced the light fitting in Alek’s room. This afternoon saw me working on the fourth project. One-minute read
