Christmas Table Decoration. Mild Steel. By Jim Davis.

Small Product Photography Setup — Once we’ve been using it for a while and know what we like and don’t like, I’ll tidy away the cables and power supplies. Until then, it’s going to be a bit messy.

Doorstop — another test shot to get a feel of the workflow with the new storage and table.

Knife — A quick test of the new photography table. Jim gave me the knife a few months ago. The piece of driftwood was washed up on the Baltic coast and is amazingly lightweight.

Ginger knows what I like and what will make me laugh – Ginger went out for lunch with our friend Rebbie today and brought back some goodies.

Fujifilm XE2s Camera with 35mm F2 WR lens, and 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 OIS WR

Time to start zooming with my feet. I love my Fujinon 18-135mm OIS WR zoom lens with image stabilization. But it is big and heavy. A $100 price reduction saw this Fujinon 35mm F2.0 WR lens coming my way.

Jim is submitting this sculpture for a silent auction in aid of the Ozarks Regional Arts Council. The only requirement is that the piece has to fit inside a six-inch cube.

Sunset over Estillyen – Oil on canvas — Photographing paintings and prints sounds like it should be simple. In fact it is a specialized area, requiring skill and patience.
