Beach Camping at Sea Rim State Park, Texas — We had the whole beach to ourselves and 80°F in November. We saw some alligator tracks in the sand, and when it got dark, we found out why we had the beach to ourselves — hordes of ferocious mosquitoes. +1

Southsea Beach – Vacation Day 1 – The flight out, a walk to the beach, and beer. Once back in Portsmouth we took a short nap. We then decided that a visit to the beach was in order, and somehow that led to a pint of beer. 5

Sea Cabbage (365: 155) — The title refers to the plant, not me. I just wanted to get that clear. 1

Homeward Bound (365: 135) — It was such a beautiful evening, I asked Liv, my car share buddy, to drop me off about a mile along the seafront from my home. On my way, I stopped to sit and listen to the sea, take pictures, and get my SP for the day.

Walking Home (365: 133) — This may be a strange concept to my American contacts, but I walk to the shops (1,6 miles) and home again. “I haven’t got much to get” turned into 23.5 Lbs (I checked) of excess baggage in my rucksack.
