Back to the Bookcases – (See what I did there?) Today I got a chance to put the final coat of varnish on the backs of the bookcases. Then this evening I indulged myself with an orgy of nailing with the nail gun. It’s starting to look a lot like my plan. 2 pictures

Have I ever mentioned how much I like my nail gun? I first encountered nail guns back in the UK when I put in a very large area of decking. I was very pleased to find that compressed air tools are far more prevalent, affordable and available here in the US. That made the purchase of a nail gun cost-effective, even though I don’t use it that often (well that’s what I’ve told myself). This week I’m working on the trim for the bookcases, and the nail gun is ideal for fitting the trim in place. The observant will notice…
