Pictures of people, friends, and family.

Hands (365: 9).

Stretch. I took this for the Week 11 project for the “What do you want” group. Then I re-read the brief and I wasn’t sure if it met the requirements.

Reading in the garden.

January In The Garden (365: 8) – 14 January and warm enough to sit in the garden. 4

Late Night Movie (365: 7) – It was actually three movies, one bottle of wine and the end of the whiskey. 2

Doubly Glazed (365: 6) — Desperate shot this one. I was waiting for my lift to work and saw my distorted reflection.

Breakfast (365: 5) – 06:30, and breakfast – It took me two days to get this one

You Hoo! (365: 4) – Future Gary says: A truly awful picture that might have been improved by clean glasses and more depth of field.

Morning Shower (365: 3) – The camera only has a 10-second self-timer, so I had to take a load of test shots the day before so that I could get the shot right. I have to get to work, so time is tight.

Trim (365: 2) – A once a week task to stop my beard becoming unruly.

Dressed Rehearsal – I’m not going to have much time to get my shower shot, so I need to see if it will work in advance.

Quick Pic (365: 1) – A quick picture for the first day. I just love the light in the bathroom, and the mirror comes in very handy for seeing the picture on the camera’s display.

Sailing on the River Thurne, Norfolk Broads. This could be August 1999. It could be 2000, or later…

Bennett, Goring, Allman – I’m pretty sure this was the year Bob and Ann turned up unexpectedly.

Robert’s ‘Official’ Christening Picture.

Old cuttings of my father – I’ve had these pictures for years I thought it’s about time I posted them. +1

Hadham Hall School, October 1968 – Today (March 11, 2021), spurred on by an email I recently received from another ‘old boy,’ I did a quick stitching job on the pictures.

They Built Their Own Yacht – Packed away in a box under the bed I found this newspaper cutting from 1960. It tells the story of how my father and a work colleague built their own yacht. 5 5

Coincidences – In one of life’s little coincidences, last night while working on de-cluttering I chanced upon my father’s (rather sparsely populated) sailing logbook.
