I don’t often share my thoughts on things, but when I do this is where you’ll find them. Longer posts are about anything.
They are typically (but not always) longer than a four-minute read based on an average 200 word per minute reading rate, which is apparently the new norm, down from 300 wpm in the fifties.

Function vs Form – This is one of those odd conundrums that often troubles me. When form and function meet and reinforce each other, I don’t have a problem. Examples of this are my current camera, my Swiss Navy knife, and dare I say it, my Beretta. However, when form and function diverge and do not reinforce each other I have big issues choosing between a product with elegant aesthetic design and its functionality. Spent the day with cap’n John getting the boat ready for some real sailing – he has a mainsail. Unfortunately, the ‘iron Topsail’ is currently broken, and beyond my knowledge to repair.
