Scenic Overlook

Photographs generally taken from elevated vantage points showing broad views of natural landscapes, including hills, forests, valleys, and ridges. Locations include trail summits, roadside pull-offs, and mountain edges.

What? No end of hike selfie? Nope. So, this will have to do. It’s a scenic overlook on Little Paddy Creek, taken on my hike out.

What is that I spy up on the ridge? Well, I’ll be … I’d just crossed Big Paddy Creek, and I was taking advantage of the lack of Foliage to try and find the Scenic overlook, and there it is — center frame. +1

Day Two — Canadian River Railroad Bridge. Logan, New Mexico. We spent last night in Dodge City, then headed down to Texas, went across Texas and into New Mexico. And why not? It bagged me a new state.
