New Door — A new front door and windows were fitted today. Here are the before and after pictures. 5

Chasing out the wall, chasing out the wall (365: 120) — To the tune of “Bringing in the Sheaves.”

Day 03. Stairs — Most of the clearing up is complete. I detest these stairs. I’ve spent hours looking at them, trying to come up with an idea of how to deal with them. So far, no joy.

Day 03. Fruits of our labours — That is a lot of rubble. It took one day to knock it down and two days to clear it up!

Break (365: 90) – Work on renovating the hall has begun. Today we took down the ceilings on the middle and ground landings and my work room. we also took out the wall between the landing and my work room.

Temporary Storage — All the stuff in my workroom is now in the Kitchen and out in the garden! How did such a lot of stuff fit in such a small room? 2

Hall cleared and Ready — Middle floor landing looking east; cleared and ready to drop the ceilings.

Damage — This is the damage to the wall outside Eldest’s bedroom caused by door slamming!

Workroom: Cleared and ready — My workroom emptied of everything except the home network server cupboard, which will have to stay in place.

Stairs to the top floor. I hate that banister. We cleared and stripped the hall and my work room, ready to take down the wall and ceilings.
