Campsite

Established primitive campsite near Fiddler Spring — Someone has been able to clear this site up. The left behind tarps and crates have gone. With the wildflowers the site was looking much better. I was just passing through to climb my way up the ridge on the right.

Fiddler Spring, Irish Wilderness, April 2025.

Campsite by the Eleven Point River. I followed the trail, that I thought was the Whites Creek Trail to this campsite. I took a couple of pictures and then went back to Bliss Spring to work out where I went wrong.

Temporary shelter – I quickly put the tarp up so I could get out of the rain. Quickly, but not before I had a swim. Piney Creek Wilderness – Day One.

Campfire under the overhang. 2 pictures

Another Overhang Campsite and my Home for the Night on Monday – I had just worked my way around the edge of a big deep pool when I spotted what looked like another overhang behind the trees. Two-minute read, 7 pictures
