Black and White

Black and white, tinted, duotone, and spot color photographs. If you see a color picture here, it means there’s a black and white picture in the post.

Just Me (365: 88)

The Bottom of the Barrel (365: 87) — Possibly a 365 days all-time low.

Breaking Free (365: 86).

Reject — nothing wrong with this picture, I just didn’t go with it as my 365 Days photograph.

Legs (365: 74).

Breakfast (365: 65) — Anyone thinking our kitchen looked nice should note the unplastered ceiling.

Burned Out (365: 61) — I’ve taken a day off to recharge. It is a shame the picture, like me, is a tad burned out despite my best efforts to correct it.

It felt like a long day (365: 59) — I’ve felt tired all day, and I was looking for something that would portray this. The other pictures I took didn’t show the tiredness, this picture seems to capture it a bit more.

Failed attempt — I’ve felt tired all day, and I was looking for something that would portray this. This picture didn’t show the tiredness.

Missing element.

Safety in Numbers – Reprise – Not the picture I originally picked for this day’s 365. Nine years later and this is the one I prefer.

An act of desperation (365: 48) — I’ve been out all day and the pictures I took on the train ‘don’t cut the mustard’ as we say over here.

Retreat — Sometimes, my pictures capture how I feel, and sometimes I’m just acting. We’ll never know which is which.

Choices — Leeds Kirkgate Market.

Wrapped in Thought.

Something Traditional (365: 37) — Something traditional = No imagination today.

Morning Shave.

The Red Dress (365: 32) – For my final foray into the Copycat mini-challenge, this was going to be ‘The Red Shorts’ but then I thought I’d go one better… 1

Dimples (365: 19).

High Contrast.

Pensive. It’s taking a fair bit of digging to discover why I have this picture. It turned out that I’d planned a 365 days picture — but it went wrong. This was my ‘safety shot.’

Self Portrait, January 22, 2007.

Comfort (365:10) – There are times when we all need some comfort…
