Mirror, Mirror (365: 141) – across the arcade and backed into an alcove for a better angle and something to lean against. I was just about to leave when I realised I was sandwiched between two mirrors. 3

Accessorize. 2

All that remains — This one bit of the old Tricorn Centre remains. It’s not a good angle. It was blowing a gale, raining and I was trying to keep the camera dry. I added some clouds in post-production because the original sky was blown out from having to expose the picture for the dark concrete.

Window Shopping — Checking out the goodies. I’m fed up with no remote and no manual focus.

Neon — I liked the colour. OK?

Bench — The seat is in the shape of a quill pen. Commercial Road Precinct. Portsmouth.

Commercial Road Looking North — The leaf litter is evidence of the very high winds we have had the past couple of days.

Waiting.

Listening to the silence between thoughts (365: 140) — Yesterday I spent some time catching up on the ‘phone. I thought it’d be fun to recreate that time for my 365 picture. I look bloody miserable, well I’m not; it’s concentration…

I Told You So (365: 139) — I’ve not read this book in years, and on picking it up I remembered it contains a hint on how to find what you need most. Hold the question in your mind and take a book, any book, open it at random, and there you’ll find your answer. I tried it.

Lunch at the ‘Gate’ (365: 138) — Invited for a lunch time meeting I picked a Pub. Note this is a very rare thing. I had a drink; I’m normally strictly water until the evening

A pain in the wallet (365: 137) — A weekly chore, and why is it as soon as I fill it up, Youngest needs his car back again?

Ghosts (365: 136) — A friend asked a question, and I promised an answer, little knowing the ghosts from my past answering it would raise.

Homeward Bound (365: 135) — It was such a beautiful evening, I asked Liv, my car share buddy, to drop me off about a mile along the seafront from my home. On my way, I stopped to sit and listen to the sea, take pictures, and get my SP for the day.

Southsea Castle Entrance.

Southsea Castle.

Brian Kidd Way and Southsea Castle. And a note on my very (very) small contribution to preserving artifacts from the Mary Rose.

All Saints Church, Portsmouth.

Drive-by Shot – I drive past this building most days, and I love the way the afternoon light catches it, but I have never had a reason to stop and try and photograph it.

Maisonettes Gary Helped Build — When I left college, I worked for a summer as a labourer on a building site, building these apartments.

Calm Centre (365: 135) – Many years ago I visited this spot at a time when I needed to make an important decision. At that time, I also needed a place and memory to act as a calm reference point to carry with me and help in the years to come. 3 | 2

Bad hair day (365: 134) — Up very late last night (shall we just say it was light when I went to bed), so not a lot of sleep, though I grabbed a few ZZZs in the garden this afternoon.
