Color photograph of paper napkins in a holder on a wooden kitchen table

Paper Napkins – Earlier today the light on the kitchen table caught my eye,and I wanted to take a picture but I was too busy. Fortunately the sky has been heavily overcast all day, when I stopped for lunch it was still looking good and I grabbed a few pictures.

It was very dark unfortunately … But that’s the end of Lanie’s high school theater run. Though she still has to go to Nationals in June with speech and debate.

Photograph of a writing desk in a rustic environment

I like this crop so much, I wish I’d taken this as a separate picture. However, the wider shots I took came out pretty well too. 3

Chandelier Through the Window — This is probably an unrepeatable picture, as very shortly the clear pane is going to be replaced with frosted glass.

Routine Cleaning – Cleaning and fixing things was not quite my plan for the day, but that is what I ended up doing. +3

One of the very first photographs I took when I bought my first digital camera. I’ve always liked this image, when I decided to re-visit the picture I also produced this black and white version. Fawley Oil Refinery, Southampton Water, Hampshire, UK.

How many old cameras do I need? This is not a serious attempt at a picture, I was just pointing my camera at things in my office late one night.

Getzger waiting for shower time – Mr. Cat has been giving a very good impression of settling onto the ‘final glide-path’ this past couple of days. It was good to see him show an interest in joining me for a shower.

Big Fish – Saturday Matinee Performance – Another great performance, and this time we were joined by Ginger’s parents, and Susan, Dennis, Matt, and Betsy. 70 pictures

Monochrome image of a Swirly Fluorescent light bulb

I saw the swirly bulb and light fitting, and felt compelled to take this picture. There is no more to it than that. Is this a harbinger of a photo-mojo revival? Then my frivolous side wants to say: “don’t call me Swirly.”

Fr. Jonathan Frazier, Rector, St. Peter & All Saints, Kansas City, Missouri. This was a picture I took partly for work, and partly for myself.

Font and Flag Sometimes while I’m working I spot a picture that I want to take for myself, this is the second of the two pictures I took while documenting the area confirmation service at St. James’ here in Springfield.

Bookcase – Finished – I didn’t take a picture of the finished bookcase, so I took a couple today. 2 pictures

My Office Fur factory – When she’s not on my desk Blue Kitty spends most of her time pushing Zees and generating fur on my spare chair.

Sanctuary Lamp – Today I snuck into the church to take some test photographs. 7 pictures

There’s something very serene about the view across the darkened church from the sacristy door. It made a nice change for me to be taking pictures in the church just for myself rather than for some official diocesan or church event.

Altar at Christ Episcopal Church Springfield, Missouri – I took some time out today to take a few pictures at Christ Church. 7 pictures

Second Shoot of the Day – Jr. High Retreat – It was a questionable decision to do two photo shoots back to back with a new camera. But it turned out fine. One-minute read, 7 pictures

Cat Food – Apparently our dinner plans for tonight have changed.
