    The low light capability of this camera keeps on amazing me. hand-held on the ‘plane with the main cabin lights out.

    Today was the first time I’ve ventured out somewhere busy with my camera, (in fact with any camera in around 20 years) so not surprisingly I have had some mediocre results.

    I found it very difficult. I was quite nervous and rushed most of the shots, and I didn’t think them out either in terms of composition or technical requirements. So, the early ones were really poor, and they started to get a little bit better as the evening went on.

    I am in Leeds today for a University Software Users’ Group meeting. My flight back to Southampton doesn’t leave until this evening so I decided to spend some time wandering around Leeds’ Arcades and Market. I don’t think I’ve been to Leeds since the late seventies when my uncle lived here.
