I love this spot and stopped for a bite to eat before embarking on what I reckoned was going to be a difficult time on the trail at the bottom of the ridge. The area flooded recently, and no doubt the trail will be messed up.

Where is this in comparison to the Little Paddy Creek Scenic Overlook?
It is around a fifteen-minute south-southeast hike from the Big Piney Trail Camp Trailhead, located off of the Slabtown Road, at the Northern end of the Wilderness — see the map image. It’s five or six miles (-ish) northeast from the Little Paddy Creek Overlook.
